This fun and practical hands-on instructional class incorporates an Emergency First-Aid and CPR (Level A) certificate from the Canadian Red Cross.
Our CPR Level A course theme incorporates emergency scene management, adult, child CPR, choking procedures and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Different points incorporate seizures, heart attack, stroke, diabetes, anaphylactic shock, bleeding, broken bones, sprains and strains. Different themes incorporate how to utilize a first-aid kit and what goes into a first-aid kit, how to utilize a CPR mask and how to ensure yourself at the scene of a mishap,what to do at an accident if you do not have gloves and a CPR mask, how to survey the historical backdrop of an accident, when to and how to call 911 or simply go to the hospital.
This course meets the first-aid treatment necessities for the BCPRA, CanFit Pro, CSEP, and ACE. If you have taken this course in the last 3 years you can do a recertification in fraction of the time. You will find Fitness First-Aid course dates on our schedule.
When applicable, first-aid course price includes GST.
